Discover the rich history and vibrant atmosphere of Albania’s capital before escaping to the peaceful countryside of Petrela.

We begin with a guided walking tour through Tirana’s most iconic landmarks: Skanderbeg Square, Flag Square, the Academy of Sciences, the ministerial buildings, Lana River, the former Blloku district, the Boulevard of National Martyrs, the Pyramid, Tirana Castle, the National Gallery of Art, and more.

In the afternoon, we’ll drive south to visit Petrela Castle, a beautiful medieval fortress perched above the Erzen River valley. Surrounded by olive-covered hills, this castle was once home to Mamica Kastrioti, sister of Albania’s national hero, Scanderbeg. Just across the valley lies the ancient site of Persqop.

A professional guide will accompany the tour, providing rich historical context throughout the day. Lunch is included.
